I recently did a presentation titled "Things that go bump on the Net - Internet Security Tips" at the Rural Schools Conference in Cedar City. While the presentation has more content than I was able to cover in one hour, I still wanted to attach it here. You'll find the attached file, in pdf format, below the "Trackback" section.

I found a post at nlcommunities.com where the author talks about having participants of his conference call in and record an audio comment about the conference. He does this via gcast and their "podcast by phone" technology. I think this is a great idea! There are a lot of people out there that would probably feel more comfortable leaving a comment this way than online.

While we hope this site will be the starting point for a lot of *cough* Forward Thinking technology ideas, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce who we are and what the objective of this site is.

Whoa! I can't believe it is again the time of year to be thinking about UCET, the annual conference for the Utah Coalition for Educational Technology. Last year's conference was the first time for me to experience it and I have to say it was a great conference. The variety of sessions made available to attendees is impressive given it is only a state-level conference.

Over The Shoulder is short type of presentation, 15-20 minutes in length, that UCET has implemented in their annual conference. This year I'm presenting two over the shoulder presentations, one on Quicksilver and the other on Drupal.
I'll post more information on these as I do them and have more information.
